Bus Éireann cuts use of spare drivers

Bus Éireann has curtailed the use of spare drivers ahead of a range of other controversial cost-cutting measures it plans to implement next month.

The move pre-empts a range of other cost-cutting measures announced by the loss-making company last Friday that have added fuel to a raging industrial relations crisis at the loss-making semi state bus company.
