The US’s military and intel chiefs have responded with fury to US president Donald Trump’s decision to strip former CIA director John Brennan of his security clearance and his threat to remove the clearances of another eight figures, all of whom were involved in the early stage investigation of alleged Russian cyber-attacks on the 2016 US election.
