Boucher admits regretting some decisions in run-up to bank crisis

Bank of Ireland boss Richie Boucher has said he regrets some of the lending decisions he made in the run-up to the financial crisis.

Boucher, the bank’s former chief executive Brian Goggin and its former chairman Richard Burrows have been called to give evidence to the banking inquiry. Boucher was head of retail in Ireland for Bank of Ireland before succeeding Goggin in 2009.
