Bord Pleanála chair ‘very sorry’ for remarks about planning expert Fred Logue

The interm chair of the planning authority previously said judicial reviews are “very lucrative” for solicitors

Oonagh Buckley, interim chairperson of An Bord Pleanála, has apologised for singling out Fred Logue, the solicitor, during her controversial remarks about judicial reviews at a planning conference last week.

Speaking at the Irish Planning Institute Annual Planning Conference last Thursday, Buckley said that upcoming changes to the planning code will make life “very lucrative” for solicitors.
