Bord na Móna seeks partner for wind energy development

Bord na Móna has issued a tender for wind energy related services that will require the delivery of a minimum of two wind farms a year.

The tender is part of a wider transition away from the harvesting of peat for burning.

Bord na Móna has previously said it will cease using peat for energy by 2028 and that it hopes to have 13 wind farms in operation by 2030. It currently operates ...
