Campaigners from both sides of the Brexit divide have lined the streets outside Westminster for over a year, but the demonstrations intensified in recent weeks as MPs debated and rejected Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement

Charlie Rome, a stay-at-home Dad from south-east London, is protesting outside the Houses of Parliament at Westminster with a familiar flag at the top of his pole: an Irish tricolour. He has brought it with him at least once a week for the last four months.
