Big Mountain has lofty hopes for Channel 4 series Programme will connect families using DNA testing

A 15-part series by Irish company Big Mountain Productions will begin on Channel 4 tomorrow, and there are plans to recreate the show across the US, Europe, and Asia.

My Family Secrets Revealed will connect members of the public with their family history through the use of DNA. The show, which had a budget of £1 million, was co-funded by Channel 4 and Ancestry.com, the world’s largest for-profit genealogy company.
