Expert says trams should give way to buses to benefit commuters

Half of peak time trams on Dublin’s new cross-city Luas line should continue to terminate at St Stephen’s Green rather than travel to the northside as planned, according to a new study.

Recent reports said buses may have to be banned from using College Green to facilitate the new Luas line, significantly increasing bus passengers’ journey times.
