Barely half of Irish people (49 per cent) believe that climate change is a serious problem according to a Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) survey.

But over half of Irish citizens (53 per cent) believe that they personally have a role to play in tackling climate change, putting themselves ahead of businesses, environmental groups and local authorities.
