Bank bosses fear that Irish gas and electricity customers will be heavily targeted in the coming months by fraudsters attempting to con them into giving out their card details.

Bank of Ireland has this morning warned about the ongoing prevalence of fraudulent eFlow messages, with scammers pretending to be the motorway operator and sending people texts that encourage them to click and link and pay bogus toll charges.
