Banks ordered to reveal top earners and hand over tapes
The banking inquiry will force the banks to hand over information about their top ten bonus earners during the property bubble.
It is looking for any link between bank bonuses and the surge of property lending which fuelled the bubble.
Inquiry members agreed after two days of public hearings last week to tell banks they would seek tens of thousands of confidential documents in the New Year.
