Bank workers' union rebrand in bid to strengthen numbers
IBOA to change name to Financial Services Union
The union representing more than 15,000 bank workers is changing its name as looks to widen its membership among financial services companies.
The Irish Bank Officials’ Association is rebranding itself as the Financial Services Union in the biggest shake up in its near 100-year history. The union now has about 1,000 members in technology and companies that service banks.
