Move is a partial climbdown from announcement over restrictions on counter transactions
Bank of Ireland has partially climbed down after being heavily criticised for new restrictions on over-the-counter transactions.
Following widespread condemnation, including public disapproval from Finance Minister Michael Noonan, the bank appeared to soften its stance on how it would handle cash transactions under €700.
