RTÉ Director General Kevin Bakhurst scrapped discussions over Ryan Tubridy’s potential return to the national broadcaster after the presenter “muddied the waters” in the wake of a review into under declarations of his salary between 2017 and 2019.
On Wednesday, Tubridy said he welcomed the findings of a second Grant Thornton report which dealt with how his salary was under-declared by €120,000 between 2017 and 2019.
