The IDA was furious with the government over its delay in launching an appeal in the Apple state aid case last week, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

The agency responsible for attracting foreign direct investment believed the two-day delay in the cabinet deciding to appeal was “hugely damaging” to Ireland’s international standing, according to a well-placed source.
