The Court of Appeal has fast-tracked a legal challenge with potentially massive repercussions for the motor insurance market.

The Motor Insurance Bureau of Ireland is looking to overturn a High Court decision which found it liable to pay out in respect of 1,750 outstanding claims following the collapse of the Maltese registered Setanta Insurance Company.
