Apex Group to acquire Bank of America’s Irish depositary arm
Depository business provides services to client assets worth $71.4 billion
Apex Group, the global financial services provider is to acquire Bank of America Custodial Services Ireland Limited (BACSIL), the Irish depositary business of Bank of America.
Apex Group will acquire BACSIL through its subsidiary European Depositary Bank (EDB).
BACSIL is a depositary solution for funds servicing a multitude of clients consisting of UCITS, Alternative Investment Funds and offshore depo-lite fund structures, across a wide range of strategies, according to a statement from Apex Group.
