Alltech acquires pair of Norwegian firms

Alltech, the animal nutrition company controlled by Irish tycoon Dr Pearse Lyons, has snapped up two Norwegian companies as it continues its aggressive international expansion.

Alltech has acquired Produs AS and Produs Aqua, two family-owned businesses with interests in the agriculture and aqua industries.

The deals were Alltech’s ninth and tenth acquisitions, the company said. Alltech has been working with both companies for some time.
