AIB forced to repay €41k in tracker error

AIB was forced to issue a €41,000 rebate after it was found to have deleted a reference to a tracker rate on a mortgage for a property in north Dublin.

Documents seen by The Sunday Business Post show discrepancies in two copies of the same contract sent to the mortgage holders, deleting mention of a tracker mortgage on one form of the document.
