Aeroflot winds up Irish subsidiary amid financial squeeze over Russia war

Company headquartered in a Dublin solicitor’s office does not appear to have traded since its incorporation

Aeroflot, the Russian state airline, has moved to wind up its Irish operation, documents filed with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) show.

The documents confirm that Aeroflot in May formally shuttered its Irish subsidiary, which it incorporated here in 2010, according to the CRO.

The company does not appear to have traded in Ireland since, and is headquartered in a solicitor’s office in Dublin.
