An accountant who a liquidator is seeking to make personally liable for debts of €4.8 million has said he will appeal a High Court order declaring him bankrupt.
Alan Hynes was declared bankrupt by Mr Justice Mark Sanfey last week following an application from Bridget Atkinson, a petitioning creditor who alleged Hynes owed her nearly €300,000. His wife, Noreen Hynes, was also adjudicated bankrupt.
