Gerry Mallon latest bank chief to face questions from Oireachtas committee

Ulster Bank chief executive Gerry Mallon will this morning become the latest bank chief to appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform.

Here are six key issues which could be raised at the meeting:

1) According the committee chairman John McGuinness, Mallon will be questioned about the bank’s reaction to last week’s decision by the Central Bank to loosen its mortgage restrictions.
