Some 4,000 sign online petition to end Church’s anti-LGBTI language

Almost 4,000 people have signed an online petition calling on the Vatican to change its language on LGBTI people ahead of the Pope’s visit next month.

The campaign is being run by We Are Church which was joined by former President, Mary McAleese, her son and Fianna Fáil candidate, Justin McAleese, and the former TV3 political editor Ursula Halligan at yesterday’s Pride march in Dublin
