Move won't work without proper design, warns motoring body
The AA has branded plans to extend 30 km/h zones across Dublin as "farcical".
The organisation said the proposed limits "don't fit the engineering of the road and undermine road safety".
AA director of consumer affairs Conor Faughnan said: "This is clumsy and unnecessary and will do more harm than good for road safety. It is being sold as a road safety measure but it is not.
