Company shifting production of dryers from France to Poland

Whirlpool, the world’s largest home appliance maker, is preparing to close its European shared services centre in East Wall in Dublin.

A spokesman for Whirlpool said in response to queries: “Whirlpool is constantly seeking opportunities to optimise its operations at local, regional and global level. Our people will always be the first ones to be informed on any decision impacting the company and its people.”
