Video sharing giant YouTube received several legal requests last week to remove content shared by Gemma O’Doherty, a former presidential candidate who promotes conspiracy theories online, before it deleted her channel on the platform.
The requests were complied with, as they related to breaches of court reporting restrictions. However, the reason for O’Doherty’s ban from the site last Tuesday was for multiple unrelated violations of the company’s rules....
