WLR Cardinal fund targeting seasoned developers

Paul Corry appointed to lead €300m fund backed by Chinese and Irish sovereign wealth funds

The €300 million WLR Cardinal Mezzanine Fund, which has already backed the return of veteran developers including Johnny Ronan and Sean Reilly, expects to have half of its funds drawn down and invested in Irish property by the end of the first quarter of 2016.

The fund, a joint venture between billionaire Wilbur Ross and the Irish-owned Cardinal Capital Group, expects to have invested in between 10 and 15 transactions by the end of this year....
