- Some 81 per cent of Dutch people believe that a Brexit will have a domino effect triggering the unravelling of the EU.

- Kerry County Council is to seek to acquire the disused Dingle Hospital and use it for accommodation for single local people and seasonal workers in the town.

- Dingle has a very large bachelor population who find it next to impossible to get social housing.
