Victoria Homes to defend winding-up petition

The High Court will hear a petition tomorrow to wind up ambitious house builder Victoria Homes over an alleged debt to a sub-contractor.

Victoria Homes, which is linked to formerly bankrupt builder Paddy Byrne, is claimed to owe Laois-based builder Brendan Lynch, owner of BM Lynch Construction and Civils, around €100,000. Lynch is being represented by Dublin law firm Hussey Fraser.
