Unemployment rate unchanged at 7.8% in July

But youth unemployment rose to 16% last month from 15.4% in June

unemployment rate was unchanged at 7.8 per cent in July and down from the 9.2 per cent recorded in July last year, the Central Statistics Office said.

The youth unemployment rate among those aged 15 to 24 rose to 16 per cent in July from 15.4% in June.
