UDG Healthcare first-half profits up 18 per cent

Currency movements add to underlying growth

Irish-based healthcare services provider

UDG Healthcare, which is listed on the London stock market, has reported pre-tax profits of €41.2m for the six months to the end of March. That was an 18 per cent increase on the same period a year earlier.

Revenue was up 6 per cent to €472.4m and adjusted earnings per share were 15 per cent higher at 12.77 cent. The interim dividend...
