UCD gets Europa League boost

League of Ireland club UCD AFC is set for a minimum €150,000 boost on the back of UEFA awarding an extra spot in the Europa League next season, writes Emmet Ryan.

UEFA awards three spots to nations as bonuses for fair play in club and international competitions. Ireland, Eng-land and the Netherlands have been awarded the places for the 2015-16 competition.The place goes to the highest placed team in each domestic league's Fair Play table....
