Tullow finds 'good oil shows' in Kenyan well

The company described the find as "very encouraging"

Tullow Oil said it has found "good oil shows" at a well in northern Kenya where it has been exploring since 2011.

Tullow operates the block with 40 per cent equity and is partnered by Delonex Energy with 40 per cent and Africa Oil Corporation with 20 per cent. Shares in the company rose as much as five per cent in London trading on the news before falling back slightly to stand four per cent higher.
