Tourism chiefs to 'blitz' China in drive to attract more visitors

Mission to target Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen underway

Tourism Ireland is to join forces with 14 Irish tourism firms to blitz four major cities in China next month in a bid to bring more visitors here.

The 2016 China sales mission will take place between May 15 – 20 and will target top Chinese travel agents and tour operators in the key cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

For the first time ever, this year's assignment will include Hong Kong.
