Tifco and Davy bid for Lyrath Estate

Bank receivers selling luxury hotel for €20m

Irish hotel operator Tifco and Davy Real Estate are among the bidders vying for ownership of Lyrath Estate Hotel & Spa, a five-star property on the outskirts of Kilkenny.

Tifco, owned by Goldman Sachs, and Davy have both submitted bids for the hotel, which is being sold by bank-appointed receivers for around €20 million. It is understood one further bid has also been received.
