Thumbs down for FG on housing and health crises in latest poll

The report card on the minority government, which is now approaching its third year in office, shows widespread voter dissatisfaction in key areas

Voters have issued a damning assessment of the Fine Gael-led government’s performance on housing, health and climate change in the latest Sunday Business Post/Red C poll.

As the number of people in homeless accommodation exceeds 10,000 for the first time, and the demand for new homes continues to outpace supply, the government’s performance on homelessness, housing and rental costs gets a score of just three out of ten.
