Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has warned the country’s 37,000 nurses that they will be denied pay increases, salary increments and lower pension levies if they vote for strike action. The increased salary scale for 10,000 nurses who joined the health service since 2011 on lower pay will also be off the table, Donohoe said.
