Start-ups at 14-year high in some sectors

Statistics on company formations show several sectors of the economy are seeing the highest level of start-ups going into business since the year 2000.

Data from business and credit risk analyst Vision-net.ie shows that the social and personal, hospitality, agriculture, motor and fishing industries set 14-year highs in the year to December 17.
