The newsagent chain has been put up for sale

Stanley’s, the Dublin chain of newsagents, has been put up for sale after going into receivership earlier this month. Bids are due in this week amid substantial interest.

Stephen Tennant, a partner at Grant Thornton, was appointed receiver and manager to Crossan Hennessy Newsagents, the company behind Stanley’s, by ACC Bank on August 12.
