The joint leader of the Social Democrats, Stephen Donnelly TD, has said the State could be losing up to €2 billion a year from tax avoidance measures revealed inan exclusive Sunday Business Post investigation.

The paper revealed that so-called vulture funds which have spent billions of euro in acquiring loans in Ireland – and are now making tens of millions from property here – are paying as little as €250 to Revenue.
