South African health giant edges closer to buying the Mater Private

Netcare bosses locked in talks with Mater officials. Group owns and manages 55 hospitals in SA

The Mater Private is edging closer to a deal with Netcare, the largest South African private healthcare provider that wants to buy the well-known Dublin hospital.

The Mater Private is located in Dublin’s north inner city and is majority-owned by investment firm Capvest.
