Troubled building firm MDY Construction, involved in the development of state-funded social and affordable housing, is to be bailed out of examinership in a €1.4 million investment deal.
The investor, KM Lynskey Construction, is to advance the money as part of an urgent rescue plan for the Kildare firm, based on commitments that key contracts with Kildare and Wicklow county councils will be saved.
