Sláintecare team wanted to get out of ‘troubled’ Department of Health

The government’s health reform team asked to be moved out of the Department of Health, due to concerns that their work was being frustrated by the troubled department.

A delegation from Sláintecare, which is headed up by Laura Magahy, met with the state’s most senior civil servant Martin Fraser, who is secretary general at the Department of the Taoiseach.
