Siptu report: union shouldn’t only fund Labour Party

Trade union Siptu’s political fund, which it collects from members, should not be restricted to the Labour Party, an internal report into the the country’s largest trade union’s future direction has recommended.

The report also recommends scrapping Jack O’Connor’s general president position once his current term of office ends in January 2018.
