Shares in Pathfinder Minerals soar after court victory

A mining company backed by the Irish veteran exploration industry figure John McKeon saw its share price soar last week following a court victory in Mozambique.

A subsidiary of Pathfinder Minerals, where McKeon is vice chairman and major stakeholder, was confirmed by the Maputo Court as the licence owner for valuable Mozambique mineral prospects.

The case relates to a fierce battle with the country’s influential General Jacinto Veloso, who challenged the ownership of the company....
