Shannon Airport passenger numbers rose by 5% last year

Shannon Airport, which reported a 5% rise in passenger numbers last year

Passenger numbers at Shannon Airport rose by five per cent last year to more than 1.7 million, the third successive year of growth, the airport said.

Since Shannon became independent in 2013, passengers numbers at the airport have risen by 22 per cent while the number of terminal passengers, excluding transit passengers, is up by 25 per cent.
