Setanta claims to be fast-tracked

The Minister for Finance has confirmed that claimants hit by the collapse of Setanta Insurance earlier this year will have access to an insurance compensation fund “sooner rather than later”.

Speaking in response to a recent parliamentary question, Michael Noonan said that the “liquidation of an insurance company is a legally complex and time-consuming process”.
