Ryanair said after-tax profits more than doubled in its third quarter

Ryanair said its after-tax profit more than doubled to €103 million in its third quarter ended December 31 despite the impact of the terrorist attacks in Paris in November and announced an €800 million share buyback programme.

The airline said traffic grew by 20 per cent to 24.9 million passengers in the period and its load factor rose by five percentage points to 93 per cent as revenue rose by 17 per cent to €1.33 billion....
