Ryanair appoints its first head of public affairs

Cristian Samoilovich joins the airline from taxi firm Uber

Ryanair has appointed Cristian Samoilovich as its first head of public affairs to lead the airline's engagements with EU institutions and European governments.

Samoilovich, who previously worked for Boeing and Airbus, joins Ryanair from taxi firm Uber, where he was in charge of European public policy.
