RTÉ managing director Glen Killane to quit station for Eir

Killane to leave after six years with broadcaster

RTÉ MD Glen Killane has been appointed managing director of Eir TV and Sport, the broadcaster revealed today.

Killane will head up the telecom giant's TV business, including eir Sport and sports sponsorships.

It comes after Eir said it was offering its rebranded TV sports pack free to its 370,000 broadband customers.
